Celebrate the beauty of spring by learning how to code your very own cherry blossom-catching game using Scratch block coding, developed by MIT!
Join our March 23rd 1-day Coding Class and code your own “Cherry Blossom Catcher” game. In this game, students design their own character that catches falling cherry blossom petals. Whether you’re a first-time coder or have some experience, this event is perfect for kids who want to dive into the world of coding in a fun and creative way.
Overview
Date: Sunday, March 23
Location: Tokyo Coding Club Nishi-Azabu, 6th Floor
Capacity: Maximum 10 students per class
Cost: FREE for first-time attendees! Returning students: ¥5,000 (+10% tax).
Each session includes 2 hours of small group, instructor-led coding lessons and 30 minutes for students to present their projects to family and friends!

Cherry Blossom Catcher Workshop (Morning)
The morning session is a perfect introduction for beginner coders and will inspire creativity, logical thinking and game design.

Afternoon – 12:30pm to 3:00pm (with Nick) – ages 9-12

The afternoon session is great for beginner to intermediate students and will push them to explore more advanced concepts than the morning session, while also developing their problem-solving skills.

Give your child the opportunity to explore the world of coding in a fun and creative way with our cherry blossom-themed STEM workshops! It’s the perfect way for kids to spend time outside of school and learn essential tech skills.
