- Morning Session: 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM
- Afternoon Session: 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM
Location: Tokyo Coding Club Nishi-Azabu, 6th Floor
Capacity: Maximum 10 students per class
Cost: FREE for first-time attendees!

Morning – 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM (with Nick) – ages 5-8
Tower Challenge!
Theme: Building and Describing
Project: Work in teams to build the tallest, most creative tower in Minecraft and describe it to the class.
Related Class: English Through Minecraft
What You’ll Learn:
- Expand Your English Vocabulary Through Minecraft: Students will learn and use descriptive adjectives (e.g., taller, smaller, stronger, faster) while designing and discussing their team’s tower.
- Develop Teamwork and Communication Skills: Through collaborative building, students will practice working together, taking turns, and giving clear instructions in English.
- Build Speaking and Presentation Confidence: After completing their towers, teams will present their creations to the class, describing their design choices and using adjectives to compare different towers.
Afternoon – 12:30pm to 3:00pm (with Nick) – ages 9-12
Minecraft Zoo!
Theme: Animals and Habitats
Project: Work to create a zoo or safari area in Minecraft and present the animals and their habitats in English.
Related Class: English Through Minecraft
What You’ll Learn:
- Expand Your English Vocabulary Through Minecraft: Students will learn and use animal-related words (e.g., lion, dolphin, parrot) and action verbs (e.g., jump, run, fly, swim) while exploring Minecraft’s wildlife.
- Develop Descriptive and Collaborative Skills: Students will research a specific animal and design a realistic habitat, using English to discuss and describe their choices (e.g., “This is a jungle habitat for the panda because pandas eat bamboo.”).
- Build Speaking and Presentation Confidence: After completing their zoo or safari exhibits, students will present their animals and habitats to the class, practicing clear pronunciation, sentence structure, and descriptive language to explain their creations.
