Get Ready for Tokyo Coding Club’s Winter Break Camp in Gunma!

Calling all students age 6-12! Love tech? Gaming? The great outdoors? Join us for Tokyo Coding Club’s Winter Break Camp in beautiful Gunma, taking place from Saturday, December 14th to Tuesday, December 17th, 2024!

In partnership with Nishimachi International School, TCC is thrilled to present our popular Code Quest camps over Winter Break, set amidst the stunning landscapes of Kazuno in Gunma Prefecture. This time, your child will embark on a unique adventure, surrounded by the natural wonders of Gunma’s mountains and hot springs.

What’s in store?

• Educational Fun: Each day, campers will dive into dynamic programming lessons using languages like Scratch and Python. Through Scratch, they’ll design and animate interactive stories and games with colorful block-based coding. Python lessons will introduce them to coding concepts through creative projects and problem-solving tasks. For a thrilling addition, campers will have a chance to develop their own Minecraft mods and game designs!
• Choose Your Own Adventure: Campers will have the opportunity to explore a variety of tech platforms and choose their favorite to focus on. They can experiment with different coding projects, build their own simple app, or even create interactive digital art. Whether they prefer collaborative group projects or working independently, there’s an activity to match every interest!
• Exciting Excursions: Embrace the winter break with a lineup of unforgettable activities! Past excursions have included a thrilling day at Round One Sports Center, exploring the futuristic attractions at Auto Mirai theme park, seeing stunning displays at the Ashikaga Illumination Festival, and more. Plus, get hands-on with a popular pizza-making class where campers can craft their own delicious creations!

• Dates: Saturday, December 14th – Tuesday, December 17th, 2024
• Schedule: This is a sleep-away camp, with activities running from 08:00 to 22:00 each day, and overnight stays included.
• Age: Ideal for children aged 6 to 12 years old – no prior experience needed!

We know plans can change, so we’ve made booking your child’s spot easy – just fill out the short form below! Our cancellation policy is designed for your convenience – enjoy 100% free cancellation up to 4 weeks before the camp starts, or 50% back up to 2 weeks prior to day 1.

For a special reduced rate of ¥109,000 (+10% tax), we cover everything – tech lessons, games, excursions and activities, project materials, food, drinks, and more.
