We cater primarily to kids and teens aged 6-18, but are glad to work with anyone hoping to build a future career in tech!
Students can choose from private lessons, group classes, tech workshops, and STEM camps depending on their time commitment and desired level of focus.
Group class students progress through our proprietary belt system focused on cultivating both core programming skills as well as a technology specialty. Along the way, they’ll earn rewards and recognition for their hard work.
Our camps welcome children aged 5 to 12 in Tokyo and 6 to 12 in other locations.
All classes, activities, and interactions with instructors are in English. Depending on the camp we will have some staff who can communicate in Japanese.
After registration, you will receive a parent guide with a detailed packing list and other preparation details. Generally, children should bring personal items such as clothing, toiletries, and any necessary medications.
Accommodations vary by camp location. For example, in Iwate, campers will experience glamping in luxurious teepee-style tents and stay in maisonette-style rooms at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Yes, meals are provided at the camps. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies in advance.
Yes, there will be transportation to and from Tokyo for Hakuba, Iwate, and Gunma camps.

Our camps include a variety of activities such as coding lessons in Scratch, Python, Roblox, and Minecraft, as well as outdoor activities like hiking, swimming, fishing, and cultural excursions.
Each day has a programming lesson as well as an outdoor activity. Here is a sample daily schedule:
· 7:00am-8:00am - Wake up
· 8:00am-9:00am - Breakfast
· 9:00am-12:00pm - Programming Lessons
· 12:00pm-1:00pm - Lunch
· 1:00pm-5:00pm - Outdoor activity (hiking, rafting, kayaking, water park, ropes course, etc...)
· 5:00pm-6:00pm - Shower/Clean up
· 6:00pm - 7:00pm - Dinner
· 7:00pm-9:00pm - Night-time activity (Game night, campfire, movie night, shaved ice, dance party)
· 9:00pm-10:00pm - Free time
· 10:00pm Lights out
We group the campers based on their age and coding skill level. At the very beginning of the camp, our counsellors will make an assessment of each camper and they'll determine their levels based on the result of the assessment.
Yes, it would be worth attending camp again this year as we will be learning a new curriculum. None of the curriculum from last Summer will be repeated, and each week of camp will have unique curriculum and projects.
Safety is our top priority. We maintain a high staff-to-camper ratio, conduct background checks on all staff, and follow strict safety protocols. Staff are trained in first aid and emergency procedures.
If a camper becomes ill, they will be isolated and cared for. We have procedures in place for various illness scenarios, including temperature monitoring and communication with parents. For serious cases, we will contact medical services and inform the parents immediately.
Children are allowed to bring mobile phones and electronic devices, but they are collected nightly and not permitted during lessons or bedtime. Any devices found being used inappropriately will be confiscated.
We maintain a ratio of at least 1 teacher for every 7 students to ensure proper supervision and safety.
Our tutors are all professionals with backgrounds in Engineering and Robotics, with some currently pursuing their Master's degrees at Tokyo University. They have extensive experience teaching at camps and at TCC.
